I had a dream last nite. my mom was driving your car, which her air conditioning was messed and i remember saying "mom! you gotta get this fixed, you have so many snows going on up here!" or something like that. we were following krystin, in her car, not sure where to. it was becoming night. we were driving past a certain section, some sort of castle looking house. the part of the neighborhood was all light up and sort of glowy, because of how the sun was hitting it. i said something like "quick, mom, stop the car! where's your camera!" she handed my her camera and i ran back to take a picture of it. as soon as i help up the camera, it was too late, the lighting passed. i went back to her car, the rest I cant remember. As I woke from the dream, I felt like the dream faded, just as the lighting. I was wondering if it was the way the sun was shining or if it was just how i was viewing the neighborhood or something. i've been thinking about perception lately. as people grow up, be become more like the people around them. they seem to lose emotions and feelings that are hard to communicate and talk about. these are the things i hope to hang on to and rediscover. feelings that make dreams "so weird" that they don't sound so weird when people talk about their dreams, ya know? it's like the saying "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", and beauty is a pretty broad term, ya? I'm sort of rambling now, heh. I just wanted to get my dream out there. I'd like to document all of my dreams in some way. I know I hardly even post on this thing, not sure why.
Have been listening to Chopin lately, that guy was a genius. |

Last night. My dream:
I was sitting at a dinner table, with my two brothers across from me. They were being their silly selves, making a grandma joke. Cameron turned and stopped joking as he say Grandma approaching. My mom came down the stairs, helping her mother and some other older lady down. My mom was much older, and wrinklier, she was about 80. My mom had a tear in her eye, like she knew something I did not. As this was happening, my dad and everybody else was coming in the door with pizza for all of us.
Through the rest of the night, I kept telling myself to not forget this dream, for it help many important symbols and puzzles that I need to solve. After I had the dream, I was wide awake at 5:30am. I fell back asleep 1/2 hour later had a dream where I was trying to tell my family about the dream, but I couldn't get it out. My sister's husband kept making fun or me, or something like that.
I wonder why I was so convinced that this dream was so important. Because now that I'm awake, I can't figure it out. Why were we all the same age, but my mom was so old? Why was she about to cry? Just thinking about the image gives me shivers. |

- Finally got my new audio equipment to work!
- Got some new great microphones and such.
- Ready to make some fun fun musics!
- I hope to get Lyrch down for Spring Break, that would RUUUULE
- Got a new job/internship doing Flash work. Seems like a GREAT place. We'll see what happens.
- Should be in my new housey in 2 weeks. Boom boom!

WAAAAAAAY too much is new since I've made my last livejournal entry.
- Eye've found myself an amazing girlfriend.
- Xmas was awesome.
- Family funs.
- Made straight A's last fall. Yay for me! 1st in my family to do it.
- My computer is dying.
- I'm losing everything I own.
- Money's disappearing, but I'll be fine in a week or so.
- Therion came out with a new album, but I'm a little disappointed.
- Starting a new business with Cameron (bro).
- 2Day's Cameron's b-day.
- Daddy's coming 2day, we're finally having our christmas with him.
- Been having lots of friendly visitors in Austin.
- Gunna start a family band. Wunna teach my sis to play drums.
- Gave a Tamagotchi to my sis, she was SO happy!
- This spring is gunna be way to amazing, I know it.
- Will be moving into a new house that Cameron bought, working on walls and floors right now.
- Getting close to the end of Zelda: Twilight Princess. That game is boss, eye'll probably play it again after I beat it.
- It is way past time to get a Wii.
- I miss my best buds in Indiania. I really hope they take advantage of the fact that Cam and Eye have a guest room in our new home.
- I'm ITCHING to make sweet musics, it's been a while. I REALLY need to get my new sound card working somehow.
- I'm graduating in the summer! I'll probably take more classes if Bill Rainey teaches more.
- Halloween is way too far away.
- I can't find my Nintendo DS, and that makes a sad Blandon.
- I wish to have WAY more lucid dreams.
- We better start public space travel before I die, it's getting ridiculous. C'mon, peeps!
- Pan's Labyrinth was a superb movie. Took me a few weeks to watch though, haha!
- I'm ready for a new Bjork album.

What a crazy night!
I forget what country I was in, but I was visiting a friend there. I went with him and a bunch of friends to visit his dad at his work. This building was crazy! It had this Peanut-Shaped Elevator that went to different rooms of the building, but it seemed like it went to different parts of the world. It could fit so many people and it had ventding machines in it. When the elevator moved, it felt like a hampster ball. And you could see outside of the elevator, like it was made of glass, but it was made of TV screens or something. It seemed like we were little hampster in a plastic hampster ball rolling around these big industrial offices.
Anyways, that was all fun and stuff. We ended up walking around town. What town? I don't know, some new town. We ended up at this realy cool tower that seemed like it was floating in the sky. We had to climb up these steep metal stair to get up it. As we were climbing it seemed like it was gunna fall at any moment. When we reached the top somebody's kid was sleeping up there, so we had to be quiet. I ended up with an old girlfriend up there. I was doing things were her we probably shouldn't have, and my bro, Zach, came up to us and told us not to. I remember him saying she had Barbie Boobs, or something like that. Anyways, it was becoming day and the light was appearing. I got up and saw that people were still up partying in the other room. I don't remember what happened from there.
At some point in the night, I was wandering around this house, I think it was apart of the office building. I came across a cool computer set-up where it was all controlled by a remote control. Turns out I was at my friend Michelle's place. She came around the corner and hung with me.
That's pretty much what I remember from the night. I'll add more if I remember it.
I'd like to add to this Journal more often. The last time was at least a year ago.
P.S. What's wrong with me? Why did I wake up at 6am on a Sunday? I mean, 'What's the Deal?!' |

Alright, let's see here.
New Years was cool. Just walked alround with some homies and went to The Gizmos show. It was warm outside! It's just weird how the temperature can be in the 60s when 2 days before there was 2 feet of snow!
I've been hanging out with Ursela. She's very cool and we have a lot in common. She likes a lot of the same music, she's in a band, we make music together, she takes awesome photographs, she's got a degree in films and has made some realy cool films, she's into videogames and like Buffy... and likes good movies. So yeah, she's been fun. But I'm not going to date her, heheh. I don't date people anymore. Maybe someday, but I just have no interest.
So 2marrow is the start of the big job hunt! It's gunna be so much fun! I can't wait!!! Sarcasm Alarm!
Next weekend is gunna rule. The copycats are going up to Fort Wayne to play a show and to start work on the 1st album with Burning Trash. We'll be signing a contract with them to release 2 albums within 18 months. Think we can do it? HA! We'll do 10 albums... if they let us. So, I guess there's gunna be a hold on Austin, TX. It's too bad because I love Austin, but Austin's always going to be there. Come on baby, let the sin begin! |

Soooooo... Here I am in Austin, TX. Kickin the root down with the fam. I LOOOOVE Austin! It gives me the feeling I got when I was first introduced to Bloomington, IN. *SIGH*!
My sibs are up for a suprize when XMAS comes around! MWAHAHAHAH!!!
So, here are a few words for all you mo-foze out there! When you think you lose everything... it can be a good thing! Build whatever life you want. Do whatever makes you happy. There are a LOT of options out there, LOOK AROUND! Let's talk about me for a bit... after all, this is MY journal. so HA!... I COULD live in Austin (the best city ever) if I wanted to. Live with my sis for free for a while, have an awesome job, go out and do cool stuff every night... but Copycat Massacre has just been picked up by a record label who loves them and wants to do everything for them. I have to do a lot of crap to stay in Indiana, but it's worth it. So the moral of this story is... if you are not happy, it's probably your fault. HA HA!!! If you're having trouble with being happy, maybe you should "lose everything." Start life over from scratch.
I'm tired of typing smart talk... I'm no smart. Me stop now.

Still on the road... nothing too new that's insanely awesome... except that Halloweenie is creeping up on us, and you can find Halloween stuff ANYwhere! And Fall! Fall's coming! My favorite season!
I just signed up for a Gmail account, and it is super rad. Gmail is Google's new webmail that is not open to the entire public yet. Each user gets 1 gig for e-mails. You can send a whole movie! weeeee!
Hmmm... what to type. The venue we just played was realy cool. Cool paintings everywhere.
We're in D.C. now.
Man, I'm so tired. I can't realy think of anythng to type. We drove 10 hours to Chappel Hill, played, then drove 5 or 6 hours to D.C. Now here I am. Ha! I guess I thought of something to type.
Let me try this again... what to type... internet is fun? I've been watching lots of Buffy... I'll either be sleeping, playing a show, or watching Buffy in the van. That's pretty much my life as of a few days ago.
Maybe I should get some sleep and try this journal thing again, later. YA?

After having the worst weekend in the world, we're back on the road. This time it's 3 weeks and not a whole summer. Should be a fun quick couple of tour. 9 days with The Weakerthans then 10 days of Headlining. We're ending our tour with a couple of days at the CMJ Music Festival in New York. So that'll be fun, being in New York for 2 or 3 days.
When I said I had the worst weekend in the world, it was just a weekend. Everything is cool now. I lost my lovely love, but then I found her again. OK, well... she found ME again, heehee!
I started watching Buffy. Lyrch let me borrow ALL of his Buffy DVDs. TOTALLY RAD! "Mad props, Davey!" Everybody that watches Buffy gets HOOKED, so I thought it would help the drives on tour.
Last night, we played Oberlin, OH. It was cool cuz my brother, Cameron, came out with his friend, Lacey. We got some yummy food, including "STINKKY TOTS!"
FABLE! So FUN! I brought my XBOX on the road... so, I'll have both Buffy AND Fable. I'm gunna be a busy man! mwahahah!
More about the tour... this tour is good because I saw my brother, I'll see my mom, Tiffany and Peggy, Tiffany from Bloomington, Lady T... and maybe more. I hope to run into The Sinns, old family friends. Ann Arbor... Tempeh Burgers, here I come! I'm gunna eat you all!!!
